Account Director Insight and Communications

Account Director - combining leadership, analysis and creative marketing development Are you a client facing account leader with strong analytics who is looking to have a much more strategic input into the creative marketing communications process? With fabulous offices in Central London, our client has an impressive business model and owns the UK's largest customer loyalty program. In a nutshell, they develop, own and operate large, retail-based, customer loyalty programmes and provide database marketing and consulting services to retailers, service providers and consumer packaged goods companies worldwide. Launching its Insight & Communication division in 2007 to provide retailers and FMCGs with insight into consumers' shopping trends from analysis of product and customer information to help them make strategic business decisions, we are now looking for an Account Director. A client facing role, you will take full ownership of the key FMCG relationships. With extensive experience in account direction, you will leverage data and insight to shape marketing communications across media platforms for key accounts. Focussing specifically on communications campaigns and insight work-streams you will manage and develop productive relationships with agreed FMCG suppliers, the insight & communications team, internal stakeholders and key personnel at creative agencies. You must have a thorough understanding of the process and methodology required to deliver strategic insights at a senior level, using your solid understanding of marketing communications to drive effective and innovative campaigns. In order to shine in this role you will need to combine strong academics incorporating a degree in a numerate discipline with proven data manipulation & analytical skills. A strategic and client facing role with lots of scope for development, successful individuals will also need to demonstrate advanced communication and commercial awareness. Ideal candidates will have experience of working with customer loyalty data in either food, retail of consumer packaged goods fields and bring experience in client-related marketing.
