Multi-Skilled Electrician E&FM Estates Vacancy Ref 6928 Job Family Operational Services Grade Level 2b Salary Range - From £24,152 Salary Range - To £24,152 Close Date Tuesday, February 3, 2009 The Department is responsible for both planned maintenance and initial response to emergencies across the University's sites. You will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive maintenance work to electrical installations to all university buildings, whilst ensuring all works are undertaken in accordance with good trade practice, and comply with legislative requirements. You will be required on a Rota basis to be part of the emergency call-out cover for electrical failures outside of normal working hours. You will need to have carried out an Electrical Apprenticeship or possess an equivalent qualification or experience. You are required to have a broad level of relevant experience along with a working knowledge of health and safety. Training for this role will be available to the successful candidate.
